Two weeks past by so fast, it's the end of November, in 3 days it's Thanksgiving, we missed the (x-mas) tree lightening at Faneuil Hall on Saturday, in 5 weeks it's X-mas :o!
Time to give you an update on what happened in my life here in Boston, MA, USA.
The last event I told you about was the Celtics game against the Bulls: you can now find some video's (apparently video's do not work: pictures it will be!) attached to this message to feel the suspense going on in the last minutes...seconds...!
Less than a week after the Celtics game, on Veterans Day (11th of November), me and my roommate again entered the TD Garden. This time we were ready to see some fights, fights on ice, ice hockey!
The Boston Bruins, in yellow and black outfits, are apparently also quite popular. The whole TD Garden was filled again with Bostonians, but since we were playing the Montreal Canadiens, and Montreal is not that far from Boston and many Canadiens live in Boston quite some Red-Blue shirts wearing people were rooting for there team.
It was expected to be a though game, long lasting rivalry between these teams and that's why we got these tickets :-).
And just 1 minute after the start of the game some players already removed their helmets and were fighting with there bare fists on the ground on the ice: I must say: I loved it! :-)
Unfortunately we lost the game with 1-3 (2 winning goals in the last period) but we had a lot of opportunities during power play (when one of the Canadiens got a penalty of 2 minutes : he is not allowed to get on the ice during this penalty) and we heard and screamed ourselves a lot of times: ooooh and aaaaah and oooeeeeehh! We scored a lot of times...almost...almost! :-)
And...I do have a very warm snow hat now...of the Bruins: ready to go to a game again! :-)
